Y·PARK is located at Lung Kwu Sheung Tan in Tuen Mun and covers an area of over one hectare. It has a full range of facilities and strong safety systems.
Using advanced wood shredding, drying, and woodworking technologies, it can process at least 15 tonnes of yard waste every day. Tree parts such as trunks, branches, and twigs are turned into wood chips for uses like landscaping mulch, biochar production, and compost.
Bigger tree trunks can be processed into timber boards and planks for construction, interior fitting, furniture, and other recycled wood products. These products can be used in agriculture, horticulture, landscaping, and industrial applications.
AEL has also installed intelligent management systems to help ensure operations are transparent and efficient while meeting strict safety and environmental requirements.
